Global governance and the role of NGOS

Global governance and the role of NGOS
We are easy to understand on the basis of common sense that, we are living in a era where every state is very much dependent on each other because of their necessity. On the other hand,in this globalization era people are more closer each other because of communication has been happening easily. Because of globalization, people can know easily what is happening in the others parts of the world. Most important point here is that globalization has considerablely weakened traditional governance process Increasing global economic integration has reduce the power of national governments While granting other economic and political actors access to the world stage .The 1990s witnessed a dramatic increase in the involvement of the non-governmental organization the global governance (charnovitnovitz,1997)
Enabling the construction participation of civil society in the global environmental governance is thus one of the most important tasks for policy makers concerned with the effectiveness of global governance.
Environmental government can be understood as the conglomeration of different mechanism and system that promote environment protection and conservation through an array of rules and regulation in any given country of the world. Due to rapid industrial growth a n unfavorable consequences all around the world, the concept of global environment governance has gained the prominence in the recent years, as the effective handling of environmental issues and the management og natural resource are important for the very survival of humanity.
Environmental governance aims to promote and synergies the concept s of the people` s participation and environmental governance to foster environmental sustainability in the proposed intervention area .we argues that civil society should play a major in the five key areas ;
 Information collecting and gathering .
 Providing inputs to agenda setting and policy development process .
 Performing co operation function.
 Accessing environmental conditions and monitoring compliance with environment agreement.
 And advocating environmental justice. (charnovitnovitz,1997)
Although global environment governance or the NGOS has played an important role in the state level activities and its impacts on the local level in the profoundly. but it has severe critics which I mention below.
 Most of the NGOs donor based so works as the spy at the particular agenda .
 Sometimes they ignored the local realities .
 Who monitor the Ngo activities
 Sometimes NGOs are more powerful then government .
It goes without saying that severe criticism about NGOs has played an important contribution in the nationally and internationally .
